Speaking for Eve’s Hope Dinner

img_0525I had the pleasure of being the keynote speaker for the Eve’s Hope first annual fundraiser dinner in Miami on Friday, October 28th.    The dinner included roughly 60 guests during a private party.

Eve’s Hope is a client of the Thomas More Society.   TMS assisted with obtaining its 501c3 tax-exempt status.

My trip was a whirlwind starting with an early morning flight from Peoria to Miami the day of the dinner.   I was picked up by my host, one of the founding board members of Eve’s Hope.  We first drove to the Eve’s Hope pregnancy center so that I could tour the facility.   It was beautiful.  Eve’s Hope is a ministry that owes its legacy to a very discerning group of core founders.  The vision began through the prayers of Linda Rump – who had volunteered in leadership roles with other pregnancy centers in Miami-Dade County prior to the formation of Eve’s Hope.  Linda and I first met back in 2015 when she attended the Pro-Life Dinner Cruise in Naples, Florida (which was a benefit for the Thomas More Society).

I centered my message on how Eve’s Hope brings hope and resources to women in the local community.   I opined that in the spirit of St. Therese the little flower – sometimes it is the smallest of deeds that can have the greatest impact.  Eve’s Hope is a bricks and mortar ministry.  Your support can make a real difference in the community by providing the resources necessary for Eve’s Hope to help women in need.  Eve’s Hope has been opened just a year and a half.  Already they know of 26 babies saved as a result of their work!
